CONFLICT DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR
PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND VENDORS
During the 2005 Legislative Session, H.B. 914 passed and became effective January 1, 2006. H.B. 914 requires that certain city officials file with the City Secretary a "Conflict Disclosure Statement" if they receive taxable income or certain gifts from any person or business that contracts with the city or is considering doing business with the city. The form must be filed within seven (7) days of becoming aware of the conflict.

FAQ’s
Resolution number RS12-2006-86 passed by the City Council in December 2006 states that conflict disclosure statements shall be posted on the City’s website as soon as reasonably practicable after filing and shall remain available until termination of person’s contract with the City or until it is determined by the City that no contact will be formed.
