Staff and Services Division

The Administrative Services Division is commanded by Deputy Chief Amy Knoll. The division consists of Communications, Crime Scene Operations, Property and Evidence, Police Records, Animal Services, Training, Sex Offender Registration and Background Investigations.  The employees in this Division carry out a wide variety of jobs and have frequent interaction with the public.
They perform the day to day activities it takes to run the police department. It is the support personnel that a visitor or caller will first have contact with when they call or come into the Police Department. 

The personnel within this Division perform many of the day to day activities it takes to run the police department. Some of the duties and functions carried out by Administrative Services Personnel include:
  • Trianing
  • Budget Preparation
  • Sex offender registration
  • Crime scene investigation
  • Records management
  • Police and Fire dispatch
  • Permits
ABOUT DEPUTY CHIEF AMY KNOLL

DC Knoll was born and raised in Shamrock, TX. She spent 6 years in the US Army Reserves. She joined the Cleburne Police Department in 1994. After several years in patrol, she was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division where she was promoted to Corporal. DC Knoll was the first female officer to achieve the ranks of Sergeant and Deputy Chief.


Deputy Chief Knoll is also the only member of the Cleburne Police Department to hold a Master’s Degree. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from West Texas A&M University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. DC Knoll is a graduate of the Leadership Command College of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.
